Katey Guinn "Dog Dials 911 for owner" by Katey Guinn

In Zainsville. Ohio, Terry McGlade was having a seizure. Luckily his cell phone was set up to where his dog, Major, could step on the phone and called 911 for him. While his owner was laying on the ground unresponsive, Major called 911 multiple times and did not bark. The dispatchers new something was wrong. When police arrived at the house, major was awaiting their arrival in the front yard. Major took the police to the back yard where his owner lay unconscious. McGlade served tour tours in Iraq and on tour in Afghanistan. While serving a tour he was hit by bomb on the side of a road. Because of the bomb, he is now suffering seizures. He got his god major to be trained to sense when he is about to have a seizure and to help him with his PTSD. McGlade calls Major his hero.
