Ryan Kelly Chamberlain was arrested Monday night at Crissy Field, a popular tourist spot near the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco. He was arrested for obtaining a dangerous material in his home. They searched his house because of complainants stating that he had "items of great concern." He wouldn't elaborate to officials what the material was but none was found in his home. After the search a suicide note was found written by Chamberlain. Officials conclude that he was attempting to commit suicide.
I believe that no one should ever commit suicide no matter what, especially if it puts others in danger. Chamberlain can almost be considered ignorant and selfish because of his actions that put other people, innocent tourists, in danger. He should have consulted some one about his suicidal thoughts before they got out of hand.
I agree, and it's so sad that this man was in such a dark place-- I just think he really should have gotten help.
