A producer from the Warner Bros. Television Group has been accused of sexual harassment. Andrew Kreisberg has co-created many hit comic book shows such as "The Flash", "Super Girl", "Arrow", and "DC's Legends of Tomorrow". His suspension was reported on Friday by Variety. The magazine had 19 allegations to source these. The sources say that Kreisberg was "frequently touching people without their permission, asking for massages from uncomfortable female staff members, and kissing women without asking." Kreisberg denies these allegations, stating that he "made comments on women's appearances and clothes in my capacity of an executive producer, but they weren't not sexualized." "Like many people, I have given someone a non-sexual hug or kiss on the cheek," he adds. Warner Bros. has been investigating these allegations.
With all of the victims of sexual harassment now coming out, here is another story involving a popular television company producer. Furthermore, his retaliations are quite interesting. He could be either telling the truth, or twisting the truth to fit his statements. This can be related back to the other sexual harassment cases that have been arising in these past few weeks. It can also be related back to the Seneca Falls Convention where it was the first time that women got together to talk about these issues. Like then, this is the first time that sexual harassment victims have faced their harassers in the billion dollar movie or television industry.
