Ellie Bush current event

Pediatricians warn about the dangers of kids using marijuana as it becomes legal in numerous states. They feel that kids are unaware of the risks that come with smoking marijuana. Screening of adolescents is highly recommended for all parents, even if there is no suspicion that their child is using this addictive drug.

This is very important for the kids today to stay safe and healthy to avoid complications. This reflects how as time has progressed, the teenagers have been more easily accessed to things that they should not be. We should protect the kids and make sure they understand that even if its just a little, it still counts and can cause you to go down a darker path of addiction.

  1. I agree that this is very important for the kids today to stay safe and healthy to avoid complications. I hope that if they get in trouble they can get the needed help.

  2. I am on the fence about marijuana legalization which is a broader category of this topic. My grandpa has Parkinson's disease and medical marijuana has been shown to help this. On the other hand though, I am against drug usage for teens. I think we should legalize medical variants of this drug and keep it under the same laws alcoholic products are under but kids should definitely not be doing this.
