This Thursday on November 2nd, Donald Trump's twitter account (@realDonaldTrump) was deactivated for 11 minutes. During that time when people tried to view his account, they got a message that said "Sorry, that page doesn't exist!" The person who removed Trump's twitter was a former twitter employee who wanted to leave his job in an epic fashion. The twitter world went crazy with responses and there was no shortage of humor.
So much of Trump's presidency takes place on his Twitter account. If one low level employee can delete his account even for only 11 minutes, we should probably be concerned that his twitter account is not as secure as he thinks it is. I wonder how much chaos would have taken place if the employee started posting random tweets instead of deleting the account.

It's about damn time that his twitter was deactivated before a war broke out.

ReplyDeleteIt's so mind blowing to me that he uses twitter to talk crap about people, places and things. It is very "childish" a president should keep social media for entertainment purposes, not to show other countries that America only talks through a tweet, dm, etc. I feel he won't be as successful as he thinks he will be unless he starts acting more professional...
