Seanelle Higgins: How Heavy Lifting Can Affect Fertility in Women

Summary: This article talks about a new scientific study/discovery about women's fertility and how it correlates to heavy lifting. Supposedly, this sort of heavy lifting can especially affect fertility in obese women. Consequences of heavy lifting can include a reduced egg count. The heavier the lifting, the less amount of mature eggs ready for fertilization. Researchers at Harvard warn women to consider how heavy working and lifting for long hours cab impact their reproductive health. However, it isn't necessary to fret yet. The study is still very much in progess and the findings have not been completely finalized.

Analysis: I think this is a very interesting sc scientific experiment, but I can't help but wonder how this can be possible. Supposedly, it has a lot to do with testosterone levels and such that can affect eggs heading for maturity. I hope that there is more research done and a final conclusion is met about this. I do believe it's important that we study reproductive health because it harbors a severe lack of research under its belt. We should definitely explore the topic more to develop a successful form of birth control and properly populate the planet.
