This article discusses how the zoo appealed for people to no longer kill one of the most deadly spiders in the world, but to catch it and send it to the nearest zoo to milk out the venom. The anti-venom that is produced from this helps saves snakes and other spiders when needed, which is a very positive thing, but also it could be a bit dangerous for average people to be trying to catch these deadly spiders. He then has a video to show how to capture these spiders safely and effectively, however I think that this is actually very unsafe and people should leave spiders alone. Nature should be left alone, without interference of humans, and it will also be safer for humans themselves to leave it alone. This can relate to when humans began catching whales for zoos, and other things like that, and humans thought that they were helping when really they were making things worse for the creatures.
This request zoos have isn't logical due to the pain it could cause the average people trying to do a service and the many lawsuits waiting to happen. Not only should zookeepers handle situations such as this themselves, but they should have consideration for the wildlife they are disturbing.
