Kate Pinkerton - Man gets 30 years for setting fire to Orlando gunman's mosque

Summary - A mosque, Fort Pierce Islamic Center was set fire by Joseph Schreiber. This mosque was the one that Omar Mateen, who shot and killed many people in the Pulse Nightclub attack,  went to for many years. No one was inside the building when it was set fire. Officials released a video of Schreiber setting fire to the mosque hoping to get help identifying him. He was identified and sentenced to 30 years in prison. He pleaded guilty to a charge of arson. According to those who attend the mosque, they teach a peaceful and loving message, and the mosque is "like any other mosque".

Analysis - This article doesn't seem very biased, but most of the quotes and details about the mosque were ones that said they only taught a peaceful message, so its possible their may be another side to the story seeing as there have been two hate crimes/terrorist attacks from people who attended that mosque. I think this brings up a good point that you can't fix hate with more hate. I'm glad they sentenced this guy to prison because he destroyed many peoples place of worship, even though they personally had done nothing wrong.
