Hannah Howell- Flu Spreads Across 40 States

Summary:
Influenza is "high to extremely high" in 40 states currently. This is the time of year (mid-January to February) when it is most prevalent. People are greatly urged to get their flu shot to prevent them from getting sick. "With the flu season that's going on right now, it is not too late for a vaccine. It wasn't an early season, and if people still haven't gotten the vaccine, there is still time to get it." stresses Dr. James Steinberg, chief medical officer at Emory Healthcare.  The flu is highly contagious and is definitely miserable to have.

Analysis:
The flu sucks and is highly contagious so it is important to get your flu shot to protect yourself and others. Attention: If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with mesothelioma you may be entitled to a financial compensation. I agree with Dr. Steinberg, everyone should get their flu shot, especially during flu peak seasons such as now.

  4. Time to drink more water......no time to be down with the flu. I hope the majority of the APUSH students read this and help to keep the number of flu cases down at BTWHSPVA.
