Ciaja Beck (4th period) North Korea test fire ballistic missles
Summary: President Trump assured Japan that the US stands behind the country completely and will make sure everything is under control. South Korea and US officials said the missile launched on Saturday night, flew east towards the east of Japan for about 500km; in what South Korea called the North's first attempt to test President Trump's policy on the isolated country. Officials also stated the North had launched the missile to raise tensions over its weapons programs and to use it as support in dealing with Trump's administration. North Korea has since warned that it could test launch and ICBM anytime and anywhere and its first challenge is the American President. "America there is too much at stake for us to surrender to the politics of polarization."
Analysis: This is really disturbing to hear and also to type about because I feel as if North Korea has bad intentions on the Trump Administration. Im really concerned on how America and the White House are going to control this because from officials they could launch a missile anytime and anywhere and its first target is Trump.
