Summary: The northeast had the biggest snowstorm of the season on Thursday. It went from the Atlantic all the way to the northeast not nicely but very abrupt. Some of the places that got hit with tons of snow were New York, Connecticut, and Boston just to name a few. The average amount of snow some places got were from about 12-19 inches. All of this snow caused over 3,000 flights to be canceled or delayed by a long time. By this time it has gone done a little to where flights are picking back up again.
Analysis: I was so surprised to hear about how severe this was because the northeast is used to a bunch of snow around this time but it seemed to be way worse and it has caused way more schools to be canceled as well as flights. This has happened to New York a few years ago where they had to cancel every single flight that was leaving or coming even close to the New York area.
