Summary: On Saturday French jets flew to Raqqa Syria and bombed a major ISIS strong hold. ISIS claims Raqqa to be the capital of their caliphate. France's press adviser minister of defense Mickael Soria said that there were twelve aircrafts, including 10 fighter jets, working on air strikes in Syria. ISIS media has claimed that sites were abandoned before air strikes reached Syria, and that no one was killed.
Analysis: The whole situation is very very sad. It is shocking and scary to watch the news over the bomb strikes in Lebanon and France. I am no military strategist so it is hard for me to say wether or not air strikes back at Syria are the right or wrong choice. Right about now is where the fear mongering really starts and we start to separate as people. Racism has existed in the U.S. for thousands of years, as had anti-semitism, and in the most recent past islamaphobia. We cannot let ISIS and fear mongering from old white politicians control our treatment towards others.
