Summary:
In light of France's recent terrorist attacks, Donald Trump has come forward stating that he recalls watching people celebrate in heavily Arab populated areas as the World Trade Center collapsed. One of his rivals, Ben Carson, claims to have also witnessed this, but his campaign doesn't agree. Although Trump's claims may be topical, they are mostly incorrect and bigoted. There are no substantial accountings of large groups of Muslim people celebrating the 9/11 terrorist attacks in America on 9/11, and the media is certainly speaking out against his presumptuous and ignorant claims. Despite Trump's repeated claims, there is actually no proof that his words aren't just to take advantage of the fear extended from ISIS.
Analysis:
Donald Trump's claims are so ridiculously false that I feel sort of embarrassed for him. He is speaking out against a whole group of people in America in an attempt to light the fear fire and get more attention from voters. Then again this isn't really new to him. Stereotyping is certainly not new to America, and won't be any sort of old news for a long time, but in the mean time the best we can do is ignore ignorant and bigoted claims from people like Donald Trump.

Trump's assumptions are absolutely ignorant. He should never have opened his mouth about the topic without having prepared some valid proof to back up his statement. No proof no truth. Madeline Jones 4th period
ReplyDeleteseriously. i dont know how these ideas make their way into his head, and why he feels the need to make sure that the whole world hears all of the ridculous things he has to say like this. Lia K 6
ReplyDeletehe does not have the proof to back up this theory, so he should not have said anything whether it was true or not. however some most likely did celebrate 9/11 and i would not be surprised if this statement was true.
