Emily Rosuck 4th - Internet Hackers around the World Hacking into ISIS Social Media Accounts

Since the terrorist attacks on Paris by ISIS (whom we should start calling "Daesh") a group of hackers around the world, known as "anonymous", have begun taking down the caliphate from the inside by closing down their social media accounts, which is their most used form of communication. So far anonymous has taken down over 100,000 Daesh twitter accounts, as well as Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.
This is so incredible because the easiest thing to do  for people who want to show their dissatisfaction for something is to "report" it on their social media, but Anonymous is taking it one step further. They are going to the root of communications between Daesh and all of us, the Internet. By them taking down videos, tweets, posts, and other statuses they are deglobalizing their influence and are potentially keeping other civilians from being recruited.  While there are other website hacking groups and associations, like Ghost Security, Anonymous is really making headway on the Internet and is sure to defame Daesh exponentially. They sent out a video after the Paris attacks warning Daesh that they are coming for them, with the closing line "We are Anonymous. We are legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect Us.

This group, Anonymous, is amazing! They thought through to a safe and effective way of taking down the Daesh's efforts.
