Four people were killed when a helicopter crashed during a training exercise at Fort Hood in Texas. The Black Hawk went down about 6 p.m. Monday in the northeast portion of the sprawling military post about 60 miles north of Austin. The cause of the crash was unknown and Fort Hood officials said a panel would be assigned to investigate. It was the second fatal crash involving a U.S. Army helicopter on Monday. Both pilots aboard an Apache were killed after it came down in South Korea.
Seems there's a rash of cooper crashes----usually indicters poor maintenance. Copters actually require more maintenance than fixed wing aircraft. Our government should care more about the men and women in the Armed forces. My condolences to the family and friends of the four killed. A terrible thing to happen at any time, but doubly so right before the most American of holidays. Thank you for your service...we are forever grateful...God Bless.
So sad
