France launches fierce assault on ISIS targets in Syria in coordination with U.S. defense officials by Savannah Boyack

The French launched an assault on Sunday on targets in Raqqa, Syria with the help of U.S. defense officials who helped with targeting. They dropped 20 bombs on facilities used by ISIS who claimed responsibility for the attacks in Paris. Anti-war activists in Raqqa said that the bombs also hit a local football stadium, museum, and medical facilities. They also said the strikes knocked out electricity in the city of about 200,000 people.

I can totally see why France is doing this. It is completely understandable that they would want to show ISIS that they are not allowing them to kill their people without the proper consequences. But in their rage, they managed to hurt plenty of innocents in the process. Besides, has anyone thought that maybe this is what ISIS wants?  To create a new world of war? Everyone is underestimating the power ISIS has to turn the whole world against each other. I understand that ISIS needs to go but we need to actually stop and think of ways to settle this situation.
