Kim Davis was interviewed after being insulted by many people who she refused to issues marriage licenses to. She is a county clerk in Morehead, Kentucky and she feels hurt. She claims that same-sex marriage is against her religion and is upset that many individuals would be so rude to her because they believe in something else. She told ABC News that she has been called Hitler, hypocrite and a homophobe. She even stated that she's received messages that threatened her life. Some angry few have taken it a step further and brought up her rocky past to show that she isn't as religeous as she claims.
I personally think that in her line of work she should either find a new job or just go ahead and issues out the marriage license. The world is changing and even if you don't believe in certain changes, you have to follow the new laws. Her job is to approve marriages and she can't deny same-sex marriages because of her religion. Her doing this denying people their new rights and keeping them from being with the person of their choice.
