Summary: Two officers were dispatched on a call and while they were at a stoplight on Ellis Blvd.
an armed male fired a couple of shots in one of the officer's hand with a semi-automatic handgun. Both officers ejected form the car and followed the assailant on foot. Eventually catching up to him and arresting him in a seven-eleven parking lot.
Analysis: I am not sure but I have a hunch that this could be a hate crime against the police from a radical. Which I do understand why they might have a grudge against the police but that's no excuse for shooting two random cops.

Gunnar Ozuna/6th - Hate crimes are just an awful, terrible, thing to do.
ReplyDeleteCops have it a lot harder then we think. Not saying that there's no such thing as racist cops, but i doubt that every one you see is racist. Shooting a cop for being a cop, is no better than shooting a kid for being black. It's still murder, and thats all there is to it.
