Child body parts found in west side park lagoon in Chicago
Recently parts of a person have been found in the west side park of Chicago floating in the lagoon. Police say the first part (a left foot) was found by a civilian walking by. After further inspection and search by the K-9 unit have found a hand and another foot. They turned these into an examiner who has stated the parts belong to a child between 2 and 4 years old. This was earlier in the week. The identity of the child has yet to be found.
On Thursday the police after hours and hours of searches have found two heads, a left foot, and two other right feet as well as multiple hands. Police are baffled because no missing child reports have been filed in the area. The search continues.
This is extreamly creepy and relates to many cases in the 30's and 20's in America. The first major case like this was at the first Chicago world fair where chopped up pieces of a 30 something male was found in a lake. This case has a very "jack the ripper" vibe and it personally is extreamly intriguing and baffling.
Moral of the story: keep watch for your kids.

ReplyDeleteThat's really scary but, also kind of puzzling because how do you not know that your child is missing, unless maybe it's one of the parents?
The fact that we would have to tell people to keep watch of their kids is so sad, you'd think that as a parent you would never talk your eyes off your child.

ReplyDeleteI can't believe something like this happened, I can't wait for this story to be more developed because I would like to know whose child this is, and if the parents had to do with it.
