North Carolina Shooting -Destiny Ramirez

An employee at Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, North Carolina was killed by a gunman. The college was put under lockdown. The suspect is a former student and employee of man who was killed. The police put tear gas into one of the bathrooms because there was another suspect, but it was not him. No one has been convicted, but he or she will be sentenced either a death penalty or a life sentence if convicted. The college is reaching out to the victim's family and friends and is holding a memorial soon.

Why is there a shooting that happens almost every other week. It is sad that deaths like this happens so regularly that people grow immune to the shock and just leave it. Although this sad event is nothing like the Boston Bombing or the Aurora shooting, it is still horrible. I hope they catch the murderer and give the victim the justice he deserves. It's instances like this that leads me to despise the second amendment in the Bill of Rights. With the freedom to do something comes with the responsibility. I hope that they hold this murderer responsible.
