This Monday, Atlanta rapper Juaquin James Malphurs, better known as Waka Flocka Flame, announced his candidacy for president of the United States by releasing a video posted by Rolling Stone magazine. In the video, he promised to legalize marijuana, ban dogs from restaurants, and '"make sure people with feet over size 13 never walk the streets again." He also wants to reform the education system and increase the minimum wage. Even though this may surprise many, this isn't the first time Waka has participated in American politics. He appeared on Erin Burnett Out Front to react to the video of SAE fraternity members at the University of Oklahoma shouting racist chants.

Even though it is obvious that Waka Flocka will never be the President, I think it is pretty funny that he is fulfilling the promise he made to his fans in 2012. I will be very interested to see the reactions of other candidates.

Agreed. Maybe he was trying to lighten up the seriousness of campaigning!
