A. Hernandez verdict - Pearson Chambers 4th

Former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez looked on impassively Wednesday as he was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole, a new low for a young man who once enjoyed a $40 million pro-football contract and now stands convicted in the 2013 murder of onetime friend Odin Lloyd.
Hernandez, 25, appeared to shake his head "no" earlier as jurors in the Massachusetts trial found him guilty of first-degree murder. He was also found guilty of unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.
I think this story can be tied back to gun laws and how they affect us. The unfortunate death of Odin Lloyd was the result of Aaron Hernandez's incompetence with an illegal Firearm. Which in America are readily available and is only increasing with new technological innovations like at home 3-D printers. This issue has always been prevalent in whether it should be handled by state or national govrnment.

  1. I agree, cases like these raise a lot of questions about firearms and what is acceptable and what is not but there was also a lot of other evidence that got him convicted.
