In Minnesota, six more men have run off to join ISIS and were charged with terrorism and conspiracy. These men included Mohamed Abdihamid (21), Adnan Abdihamid Farah (19), Abdurahman Yasin Daud (21), Zacharia Yusuf Abdurahman (19), Hanad Mustafe Musse (19), and Guled Ali Omar (20). Earlier, Ahmed had been charged with conspiracy and lying to the FBI. However, he continued to plea his innocence.
All of these men were thought to have been giving aid to the militant group yet denied any of this when the FBI got involved. Apparently, they wanted to end up in Syria via routes from San Diego or NY to closer countries. This is the most recent months-long case regarding American involvement with ISIS. Many other residents of Minnesota have left the US to fight for ISIL as well.
After 9/11, the threat of terrorism hit an all time high. This was no regular, geographic fight because many of our enemies rested within American borders. This is entirely true now. There have been such a large number of cases in which Westerners have left or have attempted to run off and join this barbarous group of Islamist extremists. Most of these cases have involved teenagers that tried to leave without even mentioning to their parents that they would not return home. What could possibly motivate teens to join such a group? ISIS is notorious for its many absurd activities, such as recruiting young females to marry members of ISIL, so I can't even imagine what any of these people had been thinking when they tried to run off.

I cannot believe this either. Some actually have no idea what terrible things they are doing because there are, factually, some people who got arrested to join ISIS because they thought it would be positive and were so sheltered they didn't know about the killings and othwr horrible things ISIS was doing. ISIS tricks people into believing they are a group who encourages and does acts from the Islamic religion, when they really do the opposite.
