After nearly two years of speculation and various degrees of wishing from voters, Hillary Rodham Clinton has announced today that she is seeking the democratic nomination for presidency for a second time. Her announcement video is one of everyday Americans, from working parents to students, of all races. Especially exciting is her endorsement of marriage equality, as evident in her portrayal of gay and straight couples alike in her first campaign advertisement. It will be interesting to see whether or not she will be able to push through her husband's past and realign the many strongly negative views that people have of her as associated with the many public eras that she has had in her life before. A strong contrast to the tidal wave introduction of Clinton into this year's campaign is the 2008 democratic nominee Barack Obama. He was the stunning blockbuster star waiting in the wings to blow the public away. This time, there is no such candidate. Mrs. Clinton has tried to silence the crashing associated with her entrance into the race. Her announcement was small, not elaborate, and she will begin her travels with small intimate meetings with potential voters in Iowa. Her trouble this time will be her ability to connect with voters. This came more naturally to her husband during his campaign back in the day.
