Today there are too many deaths by use of gun fire in America. At the same time The Bill of Rights states that you have the right to bear arms and in a sense you have the right to learn how I properly use fire arms. Many people use the fourth amendment as a pass for the young girl while others say that the girl had no business controlling a weapon such as an Uzi and she is too young to even have a fire arm license so she shouldn't have been practicing to use a fire arm. I personally believe that there have been too many accidents and deaths involving fire arms. There should be restrictions and limitations I the caliber of weapons and age limits that coincides within the Bill of Rights.

I agree that there are far too many deaths due to gun violence in America. Many gun ranges don't have strict enough age restrictions, and unfortunately, accidents like these are common. Great summary!
ReplyDeleteYes I agree we need to enforce stricter laws and limits concerning fire arms. I mean honestly why would any normal american need an Uzi, and why are we allowing children to shoot Uzi's

There should be better laws put in place about gun and use of them. The problem with that is that everyone believes they should have certain rights, even if its not the safest for everyone. I do agree with your opinion.
ReplyDeleteI agree as well. Children shouldn't worry about learning how to handle guns because they should always be with an adult and not be left unattended. I think the adult, however, should have some experience with gun handling.
ReplyDeleteI do believe that there are too many deaths from fire arms and there is no reason a 9 year old girl should be using a Uzi in the first place.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why a 5 year old girl was allowed to have i gun in the first place! There should be an age limit for operating weapons.

(Myles Bennett) In my opinion, this nine-year-old should not have an Uzi, but I am not her parent, nor do I know what is going on in her life to make her feel the need to know how to use a gun. Instead of looking down on the fact that she is using a gun, we should be happy she is going through the training on how to properly use the gun (she obviously needs it). The fourth amendment allows people the right to bear arms and I am glad that people have to go through with classes on how to properly handle a gun.
ReplyDeleteThe gun ranges are looking into setting the age limit/weight up higher. I think that's a step they should've taken a long time ago.
