President Obama: U.S. ready to take the lead in Ebola fight Mia Luckey 4th Period
Ebola is a rare, but deadly disease plaguing Central and West Africa. As the virus spreads through the body, it damages the immune system and organs. Ultimately, it causes levels of blood-clotting cells to drop. This leads to severe, uncontrollable bleeding. 90% of those who are infected, die.

The countries of West and Central Africa are overwhelmed with Ebola patients. "As soon as a new Ebola treatment facility is opened, it immediately fills to overflowing with patients," the WHO said.
With this being said, President Obama has made the initiative to send troops to the infected countries. Upon arrival, the troops will help build medical centers treating the disease, donating much needed medical supplies, community care kits and additional health care workers.
In Africa's time of need, they need all the help they can receive.

First off I love your closing sentence it really rings true, also this is a really sad time for this disease it can almost be considered a plague.
ReplyDeleteHow can you relate this to APUSH? Think about AP PARTS. This is a summary with very little analysis. Where does the US get money to aid these countries? What about the Ebola virus here in Dallas?
