Family Mysteriously Dies -Hadassah Lai

Over the weekend in Utah, a family of five was mysteriously found dead in their house. There were no signs of foul play, violence, or trauma. The bodies consisted of father, Benjamin Strack, mother, Kristi Strack, daughter, Emery Strack, son, Benson Strack, and son, Zion Strack. Their bodies were found by another son, and they were immediately sent for autopsies to check for any violence. The results did not prove anything. Firefighters had dressed in special equipment while entering their house in case they were gassed by carbon monoxide. The test did not necessarily rule out being gassed since the windows were open and there had been a storm which might have blown away all the gases. The three pets that the family owned all survived, which discouraged that they were gassed. The police are now waiting for test results.

I think this a very sad yet frightening event. The scariest thing is when you don't know how something happened, but I hope the doctors and police can figure out this case. I hope this mystery gets solved soon. My prayers go out for the family's friends, and their son.

  2. This is just horrific.. I can't even conceive opening the door to my home to see something as unbelievably terrifying such as that. I hope that the brother/son is doing alright, and handling the situation that has been presented to him appropriately. What is always most frightening is not knowing exactly what happened, although sometimes that is the best, especially in this case where it involves people one may know personally..

  3. This is pretty scary and I bet the son is traumatized, I'm curious to see how they died, if there's a reason at all.

  4. How can you relate this to APUSH? Think about AP PARTS. This is a summary with very little analysis.
