After getting fired from a Oklahoma food processing plant, Alton Nolen stabbed and allegedly beheaded another worker Colleen Hufford 54, with a knife used at the plant and went on to attack another employee Traci Johnson 43, before he was shot by reserve sheriff deputy, CEO Mark Vaughan.Although he is currently unconscious Sgt. Jeremy Lewis says they plan to arrest him after he awakens. The FBI was brought into the case because of reports from co workers that Nolen had been recently trying to convert them to Islam, "Although initial reports indicate that Nolen may have recently converted to Islam, it is not clear yet what motivated Alton Leno to commit such a heinous act of violence," the Islamic Society of North America said in a statement. "No faith could in any way justify or condone such brutality. We urge all people of good conscience and faith to come together during this terrible tragedy and not use this incident to unfairly scapegoat an entire religious community. " Correction records show that Nolen had served time in prison and was on probation for assault on a police officer.
whether this man did this for personal resentment toward these women or just out of anger for being fired, its still very unsettling that someone would have the cold blood to kill someone so gruesomely and in such a spontaneous instant.
