Flower Mound man accused of shooting, killing estranged wife

Daniel Fink who is 41 years old, has been charged for shooting and killing Aide Fink, his wife who is 50 years old at her home. The three children of the husband and wife, ages 7-16, were at the home of the time of the shooting and the oldest one is said to of been the one who called the police. On Thursday, the owners of the home were due in court for a divorce hearing. "FOX 4 said the children were not handling their parents' separation well."  It is said that all three children were very close to their mom; her being a very supportive mom and woman to her children and all their activities.

I hope the children find closure because they are all wanting to know why their dad decided to do this to their mom. I think it's so awful what happened. It seems so weird to me because I too live in Flower Mound so I could have passed by this family at the grocery store or on the streets at some point. It's the thought of something bad happening so close to you in your community that creates a dent in your bubble of safety.

  1. This is so incredibly terrible; it almost seems unreal. Hopefully, the children (god knows what they're going through) are put in good care with family and friends.

  2. I'm still trying to grasp this especially since we are so close to Flower Mound. I hope the family is able to keep moving forward and are taken care of by friends and family.

  3. Every time I hear this story, I get overwhelmingly angry. To knowingly take away a mother from these kids is awful. It's not like they were so young they would only have faint memories of her, one was our age. They had grown up with her and loved her dearly. It's truly heartbreaking.

  4. How awful for the children, I couldn't imagine what they are going through. There mother is gone, and their father is responsible for it. The only hope is to find closure and hope that the children are taken care of. They should be the priority in this case.
