On Friday, September 19, 2014, veteran Omar Gonzalez jumped the fence into the White House. Gonzalez was armed with more than 800 rounds of ammunition and two hatchets and a machete in his car. He told a Secret Service officer "that he was concerned that the atmosphere was collapsing and needed to get the information to the President of the United States so that he could get the word out to the people,". He has apparently been suffering from PTSD since his deployed to Iraq.
It's terrifying to know the people who protect this country have the potential to ruin a country as well. As far as Gonzalez got into White House territory, I assume that if he had more people with him on his side, then maybe his mission could have been accomplished. A citizen of the United States, I feel actions such as these are the causes of our rights slowly being taken away.

I was reading about this yesterday and apparently he had no trouble getting into the white house. He just let himself in through an unlocked door like NBD. The president and family were not home, but where the heck was the secret service right when he walked in?
