A terrible event occurred in Texas this past week. A gunman set off seven minutes of hell for the people attending church that morning in Texas. The church has been damaged with hundreds upon hundreds of bullet holes, blood stains, and shattered windows. Frank Pomeroy, the pastor, lost his 14 year old daughter in this awful shooting. The church potentially might be torn down and turned into a memorial for the lives lost. 25 victims have now been identified. This world we live in is filled with sick and cruel people. I'm sending my condolences to all of the victims family members. It will take a long time to find peace with the situation.

This connects to history in the way that many innocent people were killed or harmed for no reason. For example all of the slaves who were killed and beat for no reason at all. It's awful what happened to them and still goes on today. Our world needs to change. Everyone needs to realize that we are all human and the same in almost every way. Why can't we all love and accept each other? Is it really that hard to love one another?
