At least 26 people killed in church shooting
There was a shooting this morning in Sutherland Springs, Texas at First Baptist Church. They still aren't positive about the number of people killed. They don't know if the number will grow or not. They also said that about 20 were rushed to the hospital with ages raging from 5 to 72 with injuries which varied from minor to critical. This is the largest mass shooting that has ever occurred in the state of Texas.
The governor requested that every parent hugs their kids and let them know that you love them. Stuff like this is so sad. Its truly a tragic innocent. There isn't much you can do to prevent these things. All we can do is be there as support for the families and friends of those effected. I cant imagine what they are going through right now. Sutherland Springs, Texas will get through this. My thoughts and prayers go out to every single one of them. There are crazy people in this world and we cant stop them. It is so sad and scary.
Our nation is in such a difficult time right now, and many people are turning to God, but if "god's house" isn''t even safe, then think how that will affect people's mindset towards church. Going to church every Sunday is apart of the culture in America, and it very unfortunate that such a sacred thing has been ruined.

ReplyDeleteThis is so sad! I can't even imagine what they're going through. How could someone do anything like that, especially in a church where people go to do what they love.
