Earlier this evening, a 29-year-old-man rented a pickup truck and took it on a bicycle path near the World Trade Center and plowed it through a crowd. This ended up with 8 people dead, and at least a dozen injured. After the aftermath of the gruesome event, officers found a note that the attacker dedicated this act of terrorism to ISIS. The attacker's name is Sayfullo Habibulaveic Sapiov, a man who has been living in New Jersey for at least five years. The attacker went about the scenario by driving and hitting a school bus. After effectively disarming the school bus and the pickup truck, Sapiov then used firearms to attack nearby pedestrians until being shot and apprehended by an officer. News on this subject continues to role in as police are doing a thorough investigation about his motives, his background and anyone with similar beliefs.
