From this wonderful report by everyone's favorite, Brietbart News, Russia may be planning to send back Edward Snowden as a gift to gain favor with the Trump administration. This information comes to you from a senior U.S. official and another source that goes unnamed on NBC. If this is true then Snowden's return may spell his doom, as treason in the great land of the United States Of AMERICA warrants a potential death penalty. He can see a minimum of 30 years behind bars if he isn't straight out put to death.

This wonderful story has its roots in reality but gets a little hint of right wing flavor from a trump interview from 2015 and lots of quotes from it sprinkled throughout the article. In regards to Snowden coming home, I think he should go to prison but not get the death penalty. I do like his contribution to the knowledge of the general public and his leaks are helpful to know, but treason is treason and if he gets off the hook, then everyone should. Also Brietbart is a shitty news source.
