Sydney Bridgeforth - North Korea test fires missile into sea in challenge to Trump administration
Summary:
South Korea's military said Sunday that North Korea fired a projectile into its eastern sea, a likely effort to advance its weapons program while also challenging the Trump administration in Washington.
South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a statement that the projectile was fired from an area in the country's western region around Banghyon, North Pyongan Province.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said in his annual New Years address that the North's preparations for launching an intercontinental ballistic missile have "reached the final stage."
Analysis:
This was an article posted today in the Dallas Morning News. I have read other articles prior from the DMN. Like those articles, this article was written to present the facts. I didn't detect any bias in the article.
This current event is almost disturbing to read because I feel that North Korea deliberately showed disrespect to the current administration. Causing other countries to defend themselves as a result of their picking at the Trump administration, is something I would rather not witness in my historical time if it causes a war.

This is scary. I hope the U.S. doesn't fall into nuclear war.
ReplyDeleteNorth Korea has been crossing the line for way too long. It is time that we crack down on their outrageous behavior and let them know that if they don't want to deal with the US, they should cut it out.
