Matthew Zapata - Trump Tweets Against Judges

On February 6th, 2017 CNN posted an article about Donald Trumps tweets and how it worries the legal community. The article was written by Ariane de Vogue but it really didn't show any bias at all throughout the article. Specifically, the article talks about Trumps tweet regarding the judge that temporarily suspended his executive orders on immigration (which is a WHOLE controversy in itself). He targets a specific judge and also the court system basically saying that if there is a terrorist attack during this time of suspension they are the ones to blame, not Trump. I really think this whole issue is rather silly on Trumps end. Putting someone on blast over social media, specifically TWITTER, is just childish. I just don't think that our president should be behaving like this, its unprofessional. I can see why Trump is saying these things and I can see why the legal community is worried a little but I think that things could be handled in a different manner.

  1. The thing that appalls me about Trump's anger towards the judge is that this is judges' job. This is the whole system of checks and balances, and this is supposed to happen. And Trump actually thinks he's supposed to have all the power no matter what.

  2. I don't think Trump should have a twitter at all. It really is immature and childish and in some ways it could lead to safety issues.

  3. Sometimes we should all no matter what not share our thoughts and feelings on social media for our safety and for our own respect.

  4. I agree with Payton. In a way, Trump should stay low and not post a ton on social media because it seems to do him bad most of the time.

  5. Trump shouldn't have a twitter if he tweets less intelligently than a 13 year old.
