Grace Schwall-White Nationalist groups come to colleges

Valerie Grim is a professor at Indiana University Bloomington who recently found the flyers of a white nationalist group pasted on the African American studies building at the college. This particular group is called Identity Evropa but a number of other similar organizations have been forming at colleges  across the nation. These groups usually support white supremacy and are often anti-Semitic and anti-Muslim. This is shown in their posters which have slogans such as "Make America White Again". A rise in the popularity of these groups has correlated to the election of Donlad Trump.

This article was written byAnna North from the New York  Times for an installment of This Week in Hate. This Week in Hate is an installment that focuses on hate crimes that occur in the nation. This article was written as a reminder that white supremacy is still an issue today. It is often referred to as a thing of the past but this article show how it is still prevalent today and needs to be actively stopped. The number of hate crimes has risen since Trump's election and will continue to increase unless people such as white nationalist groups are stopped. The behavior of Identity Evropa and other white nationalist groups could even evolve to being similar to that of the KKK in the 1920s-1960s.
