From March to Strike- Karina Enriquez

summary:
After the overwhelming amount that joined into the Womens March the day after Trump was presented into presidency allowed many people to open up their eyes into realization. Many people were able to realize in what we care and work for. After seeing this, many people began to question "what else can we do" and began thinking of creating nonviolent strikes. One particular strike influenced by the writer Francine Prose has been given a date an a few ideas behind the reason. The strike will take place February 17, 2017 in honor of all the issues taking place with having to protect our constitution and rights to the neglect of the refugees. There has been about 16,000 people in confirmation to their attendance.

synthesis:
This article has been written by Eli Watkins for CNN.  The writer of this article seems to be a bit into support with the strikes and uprising ideas. He includes an anecdote from a writer that shows a sign of support. The article is not only giving information but it is allowing you to have a better point of view toward what is going on right now in our time period. This seems much like the strikes and uprisings the Americans used to have in the period of the industrial revolution to WWI. Allowing the citizens to demonstrate their opinions and fight for what they believe in  just like the womans suffrage .
