Summary: The Akron plane crash that occurred on November 10, 2015 had over 1,100 pages of the public docket. These pages were just pulled out again on Tuesday to be looked over and hopefully find a probable cause of the crash. The public docket consists of the pilot’s cockpit voice recorder transcript, witness statements, pilot training records and more. This information revealed that the co-pilot, Renato Marchese, was flying the plane, and they realized that he had very little knowledge of what to do at the time of the crash. After looking more into the pilot’s and copilot's backgrounds, they learned that the copilot had had previous training problems that led to termination from Sky King that year in February. Unlike him, the pilot was highly qualified and came across as very successful in flight school. According to one of the copilots instructors, he was “having difficulty transitioning from a flight simulator into the real world of actually flying in airplane.”
Analysis: The fact that this article was published during this week is important to this incident, for that after almost two years they are just now reviewing old facts and evidence in hopes of finding answers that they were unable to discover. Families who were majorly affected by the crash have been left with unanswered questions about why this happened. This article was written in hopes of being able to inform people who want to know more about why the plane crash took place. It conveys the idea that there’s a chance the evidence will support the truth behind the plane crash. In U.S. History, the mysterious plane crash of World War 2 was left unsolved in Victoria which is similar to the Akron plane crash.
