Jay'La Sims - Dallas Street Problems Compete for Attention, Funding
SUMMARY: Dallas has $5.3 billion backlog of street repair and transportation needs. $1.7 billion will go into construction. The money will go into complete reconstruction of the streets. The main facing problem is if they should face the money evenly or focus on the worst problems. The needs are posted online for citizens to see.
ANALYSIS: This story is by Ken Kalthoff. This news video and article brings attention to the problem Dallas has. They city needs the citizens help and input to make Dallas better. 2 people were interviewed that didn't have neutral opinions and they definitely thought things need to be changed. This can connect to the reconstruction of the bank and our tax money being put into state.
