Summary: This article displayed the effects that Hurricane Matthew had on families. Twenty six people have died from the wrath of Hurricane Matthew. Fortunately the storm went from a Category 4 to a Category 1. This storm has caused many people to be homeless and without a way of transportation. One lady chose to look on the bright side and said, "In the midst of the storm, you have to smile."
Analysis: This article was written for the purpose of informing people of the effects of the recent hurricane, Hurricane Matthew. Many people have been hurt by this storm and people have actually died from this. The thing that we can all take from this article is that we should always look in the bright side of every situation because there is always going to be someone who is worse off than you. The mourning of the city that was destroyed and the people who have passed will likely be a an arduous journey and hopefully the reconstruction can be done soon. In relation to history, Princeville has been hit before by Hurricane Floyd in 1999. I don't think that it was as bad as the storm that recently hit them. Many people lost their homes and their belongings similarly to this situation.
