Summary: This morning there was a horrible calamity in California. Thirteen people died when a tour bus collided with a semi truck on the highway near Hot Springs. 31 others were injuried too! What is interesting is the bus driver owns this company. The reasons are not known for why he collided with the semi. Was he under the influence of any substance? Was there a motive? It is thought that all passengers were asleep at the time of the crash. Many were rushed to the hospital.
Analysts/Synthesis: I think this was a horrible event, and it is always terrible when so many people die! I feel like this stuff shouldn't happen anymore. Our transportation and technology are too advanced for this to happen. I think the driver just fell asleep at the wheel. The people on the bus deserved to have a safe trip without being injured or killed. This connects with the explosion of the Sultana steamboat in April 1865. It killed 1700 people. The tour bus crash was probably caused by driver neglect, unlike the steamboat crash which was caused by the boiler exploding. I think we will find out that the driver of the bus was at fault.
