Summary: On October 17, 2016 A man was a hero today. Cape Cod National Seashore is filled with nice, clean beaches but it is also home to many great white sharks. Many of seals are around the beaches and where seals go, sharks end of following . Today there was a young man surfing by himself. He was waiting for a while for a big wave to come while he was about 50 yards away from the shore. Little did he know that sharks were waiting for him to come closer, two great white sharks were swimming only 25 yards away. Wayne Davis spotted the two sharks from his airplane a few hundred feet above the surferWayne Davis spotted the great white sharks. Instead of panicking, he called over to the radio to tell them what was happening. Later, a boat came to rescue the young surfer and pulled him out of the water. Throughout the rest of the day he stayed to watch the shore and ended up seeing over 30 sharks.
This article was super fascinating to me. To think that if I was that person in the ocean not knowing a shark would was near me I would probably freeze. Its incredible to think about many people in our world our capable of wonderful things like seeing sharks and warning the people in the water. If he wasn't there, this situation could have ended very differently. Overall, I don't believe people shouldn't go in the ocean or be scared i just think everyone should be cautious when going in.
