A Murder in a Mansion by Kennedy Park prd 4

On May 14 2015 a fire was reported at the home of the millionaire Savvas Savopoulos, his wife, and his 10 year old son. After the fire was put out, a murder scene was found on the inside. The fire was only the very end of a long 18 hour hostage and ransom. A few days after the bodies of the family and their housekeeper were found, Daron Wint was arrested for the murder. Court records indicate that a 40,000 dollar delivery was also made to the home sometime during the incident. Wint's lawyer states that Wint was set up and that there were others involved in the crime.

I feel like nothing could have prevented this from happening. This is just another example of people being greedy. This relates back to history because it's like when Andrew Jackson passed the Indian removal act solely for the purpose of taking the land from the Native Americans and profiting off of the gold within it. It's so sad that they died. My question is, why didn't the guy who delivered the ransom to the house call the police? Wouldn't delivering 40,000 dollars to a house set off some kind of warning?
