In this article a woman from California has found a way to help Syrian refugees carry their babies on their journey to safer lands. Her name is Logothetis and she is and has been donating baby carriers and strollers in hopes that they will make the long and treacherous journey that many refugees taker, a little easier. she didn't think her ideas would go very far but they have. Many people have joined in to help her help the refugees. They have also raised money to purchase more carriers.
I love that there are people out there who are actually trying to help the refugees and not condemning them to a gross stereotype even as tensions rise around the world. The refugees remind me of all the times in U.S History that the U.s has accepted people from all over the world. Of course who was accepted and when has fluctuated over time but the people of U.S are immigrants and refugees from all parts of the world.
