As a result of the bombings in Paris and other countries, Paris is contemplating war with the Islamic State, or ISIS. Francois Hollande spoke on the matter, saying ISIS was out to divide the French. They plan to unite, and war is in the air.
This is vitally important because this could potentially be the start of the next World War. Now that relationships between countries are more complicated, and the world is more interconnected through social plat forms and speedier transportation, the world is at greater risk of a self-annialating war. Much of America believes it is cherished by other countries, the reality is many world powers despise us. Finally, this effects us, as millennials, so greatly, since we will be a part of the next draft if a war does break out soon. As the Vietnam war, many people will be against it, avoiding the draft all together.

Everything that is happening in France right now is a very saddening thing and I wish there could be something we could do about it
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't worry about ISIS starting a world war, because everyone already hates them. If anything, the world will have to unite to defeat them. (The US already declared war on them, anyway.)

ReplyDeleteI wish that there was some peacefull way to end these terrible acts, but i really hope that we do not start another world war, that is just what we dont need.
War against ISIS is inevitable, and we have plenty of other countries' support in defeating them. The world can't stand around and continually be caught off-guard by more acts of hate and destruction.
