After the tragedy that hit Paris this week, there have been a multitude of responses from America.2016 Presidential Candidate Lindsey Graham states "there is a 9/11 coming." He said he believes that the U.S. should declare a war on ISIS and put deploy soldiers to fight a ground war. He said that what happened in Paris will happen to America soon and on a much larger scale from Syria if we don't stop it now. "I'm trying to protect America from another 9/11."
What happened this week was absolutely the Parisian 9/11, and Obama claims that ISIS has been "contained" but the truth is, as Hillary Clinton said in the Democratic Debate the next day, "it's not enough for ISIS to be contained, they need to be defeated." This is unequivocally true. ISIS will not stop until they are completely taken over. However, I do not think ISIS will be coming for America any time soon, they usually don't execute high-exposure operations anyways, so they probably won't be coming for the tightest militant force in the world.
One of the men who admitted to being involved in the attacks said he smuggled himself into France along with a group of Syrian refugees, which obviously opens the floor to the issue of accepting refugees into America. This attack now puts into question the security with which we can take in Syrian refugees and if we should even be taking them in at all.
This attack was not only an attack on Paris, but on the world.

This attack is absolutely awful, as we all know. Not only did it cause an issue with the current conflicts on refugees coming into America, but it also causes conflict on how the ISIS terrorist smuggled themselves into Paris in the first place. Madeline Jones 4th period
