Dartmouth breaks out in violence after black lives matter protest - Gunnar Ozuna Period 6
At Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, a Black Lives Matter protest has gone completely wrong after it ended in violence and "vulgar epithets". The protesters were dressed in all black shouting "We shall overcome!" Originally, it was to gain awareness for the Black Lives Matters cause on the Dartmouth College campus, but ended terribly for the protestors and made them look like bad people. This is similar to the protest (or rebellion) Shay's Rebellion. It was a series of protests in 1786 and 1787 by American farmers against enforcement of tax collection. It's similar in the way that both protests made the protesters look irrational and violent. http://coed.com/2015/11/16/dartmouth-college-black-lives-matter-protest-violence-video-details/
