Four suicide bombers blew themselves up in a northern Cameroonian town near the Nigerian border Saturday, killing at least six people and injuring about 12 others. The Nigeria-bases terror group Boko Haram is suspected to have been behind the attack in the town of Fotokol. Boko Haram has increasingly asserted itself, not only in its home in Nigeria, but also in other western and centeral African countries, including Cameroon, Niger, Benin, and Chad.
All the terrorist attacks happening right now is thought provoking. The Poko Haram's are starting to get powerful in Africa. Once the gain power, what will happen then? Will they target other continents like Al Qaeda or ISIS?

The time we are living in is crazy. It seems like everyday there is a new story about some terrorist attack or other tragic event.

ReplyDeleteEverwhere you look theres another terrorist act. As if the Paris attacks werent enough, they need to keep going? I wish i could see inside these peoples brains. It makes me so sad.
Funny how this isn't really getting media coverage. It's good to know about things that happen in other places.
ReplyDeleteI'm honestly so scared to live in these times because you just aren't safe anymore. Innocent people die every single day and no one cares or is doing anything to stop it.
ReplyDeleteThis is so worrying to hear, it appears that terrorist attacks, smale/large-scale, are happening all over! I sincerely hope that everyone stays safe and that terrorism will be resolved into a world more loving and protective of its citizens.
ReplyDeleteThese recent ISIS attacks make me worry about the idea of another world war. The violence that Syria is inflicting upon the world is terrifying and I hope they do not succeed in getting all of Europe to fight against each other. - Sophie Kurzius 8
