Analysis: The Author is Kerry Chan Laddaran and she appears to be a non-bias party. This article was created on November 14th, right after the incident had taken place adding to the urgency. I knew about the tragedy that happened in Paris and I am so glad that Americans are offering their homes. The Audience is the concerned American public and this story has a positive/patriotic effect on them. The reason for writing this article was to educate the American public on this terrible event. This directly relates to the terrorist attacks on 9/11 and Americans are really sympathizing with France because they know what the country is going through.
It is great to see that people are coming together to help people who have been deeply affected by this attack. Not only am I moved by this but also how other countries lit their national monuments with French colors.

I am very happy to hear about the major amount of support being given to Paris following these attacks! This specific article kind of reminds me of the Quartering Act in US history, except this time the people themselves are inviting and offering others a place to stay in their homes, instead of being forced to. -Nicole Chatham 6th period
